## The three parts

1. [Unboxing (the best part)](/docs/tutorials/thermoflex/getting-started-with-our-evaluation-kit/unboxing-the-best-part.md): open the kit and lay out every part before you touch software.
2. [Set up software and drivers](/docs/tutorials/thermoflex/getting-started-with-our-evaluation-kit/update-library-and-firmware.md): install Python, the ThermoFlex Python API, and the USB serial driver, then confirm the Node is talking to your computer.
3. [First time flexing your muscles](/docs/tutorials/thermoflex/getting-started-with-our-evaluation-kit/first-time-flexing-your-muscles.md): run your first flex script safely, with the calibration steps that keep your muscle intact.

## How long it takes

Plan on about 30 to 45 minutes for all three parts, most of it software setup the first time. The flex itself takes seconds. You can stop after any part and pick up later.
