# Software roadmap

See what is coming to the Delta Robotics software stack, including the Delta Client desktop app and the Motor Cortex motion layer, both in development

The ThermoFlex Python API ships today. Two more tools are in development. This page tracks them honestly: what each will do, and how far along it is. There are no release dates yet.

## Delta Client

Delta Client is the official desktop client for Delta hardware. It is in development.

The plan is a single app that lets you configure and test Delta hardware over USB, update device firmware, and connect your hardware to the cloud, all without writing code. Where the ThermoFlex Python API is built for scripting and integration, Delta Client is built for hands-on setup and inspection.

Details will land here as the app takes shape.

## Motor Cortex

Motor Cortex is on the roadmap. It is a higher-level motion layer for coordinating Delta hardware.

There are no public details to share yet. This section will fill in once the design is further along.
